It's also great for amending soil to grow and improve your lawn health.

We blend composted aged hemlock bark,
animal manure fertilizer, pumice rock and sand into a soil that is
ready for planting flowers, veggies, or supporting established plants.

We have been custom mixing this blend for over 20 years
and use it in our gardens at home and at our Tigard location.

The Hemlock tree produces a rich organic bark.
A majestic forest product, our Medium Aged Hemlock is composted for 1 - 2 years to give it a light brown to deep chocolate brown color.
As an organic product, color varies slightly
throughout the season and from season to season.
Aged hemlock is also known as "dark hemlock" and is
considered sliver-less making it popular for family homes.
It is perfect for use as ground cover and/or mulch in your garden.
It can also look beautiful on pathways.
